Project Description

For more than eight years, Melwood and its team has worked hand-in-hand with the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans (MAHP), which includes the state’s top-ranked plans, to help communicate its priorities in the state’s rapidly evolving, high-stakes healthcare marketplace. Through strategic planning, messaging, earned media, thought leadership and social media, the Melwood and MAHP team have steadily sharpened the proactive case being made by health plans on a range of issues, primarily focused on the drivers of health care costs that most impact businesses and consumers.

Through two Governors, five legislative sessions, the passage, implementation and possible repeal of Obamacare and countless legislative proposals, MAHP and Melwood have worked seamlessly together to effectively, forcefully and impactfully communicate the benefit of the plans and the issues that matter most to their members.
