Claudia Martinez is a third-year at Northeastern University pursuing a major in Communications and Graphic and Information Design with minors in Marketing and Psychology. She was born and raised in Panama City, Panama with her three siblings (she is the youngest of four) and her four dogs.
Claudia began working in media, design and communications as a Marketing and Sales Assistant for a retail company in Panama, as well as a Community Manager for a social media account. She comes to Melwood Global as an Account Coordinator through Northeastern’s co-op program and is excited to learn more about public relations and its application to media and design.
Claudia is passionate about history (especially Latin American), anything to do with art and reading books.
Despite growing up in Panama’s warm weather, Claudia prefers Boston’s colder weather.
One of her favorite books is La Casa de los Espiritus (House of Spirits) by Isabel Allende.
She loves spending her summers back home in Panama with her family and visiting different beaches along the coasts.
