Caitlin DuffyAccount Executive
Caitlin joins Melwood with extensive experience in political communications, public policy, State House advocacy, and campaign operations.

Prior to joining Melwood, Caitlin worked on local and national campaigns for candidates like Senator Elizabeth Warren, Attorney General Maura Healey and State Representative Christine Barber. She also boasts years of experience working in the Massachusetts State Legislature as the only staffer to State Representative Jay Livingstone. During her tenure, she played a role in passing legislation like the Equal Pay Act of 2016 and the Roe Act of 2020. Finding new ways to talk about progressive public policy and getting those ideas to the finish line is her passion.

Originally from New Jersey, Caitlin moved to Massachusetts in 2010 to attend Emerson College and received her B.A. in Political Communications, Advocacy, and Leadership. In her free time, Caitlin loves to watch and re-watch television series and movies. She also loves to play music and collect records.

Fast Facts

  • Caitlin adopted two cats this year, a mother (Peach) and her baby (Bunny). They love to pop up on Zoom.

  • She performed in an all-woman punk band for charity to support the Girls Rock Boston Summer Camp, which teaches girls and children with marginalized gender identities how to empower themselves through creating music.

  • Caitlin loves to cook and bake. Her specialty is the perfect pie crust.
