Melwood Global worked for two years to assist in communications strategy and media outreach for the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation, the state-funded civil legal aid organization. Melwood led efforts to draw attention to those who need civil legal aid in housing, employment and other matters and around MLAC’s largest annual public lobbying effort, the Walk to the Hill for Civil Aid lobby days. The resulting media coverage helped ensure MLAC was immune from cuts in the state budget.
